Hard Case for Everything!!! (almost)

I have been reading the old posts and googling this and that, and have measured my gear and looked at Pelicans and Portercases and I am thinking this has to be solvable.

I want a hard case (like a Pelican) that will carry my small, three light kit, including stands, my bogen sticks and some extras. I also need it to be checked on the plane and not have to pay overages.

This way I can fly to do some quick interviews and only have my camera case and one additional.

Has anyone found something that's worked?

I found a black trunk at the container store for $30 and put some porta foam in it. It is big enough for all that you mentioned and it flies no problem.

Looks nice, may be a bit too small, but it may work.

Have you checked it on a plane before, how durable is it?

Checked on a plane and its a go. The plastic seems a little thin comparded to a pelican but I would have no fears about flying with it again.

Thanks Will, I just found the same case at walmart, I'll check it out.

Coincidently enough, I need this case for a trip to Virginia! Maybe I should just hire your gear!
