I can only imagine the technological marvels people must have achieved in 2005. Have we done away with war? Hunger? Poverty? Clothes?

Well, I must say most of the world are the same here in 2005.
But they just sold a HDTV cam with 4:4:4 compression 1980*1080 4fps-320fps variable, 3 35mm CCD for just 3000$ (and that included 10 400gb memorycards)
And the cars don´t need gasoline anymore. Just plug in your old DVX standard battery (you dont need it anymore now when the new superprosumer cam has come) and you can drive about 500km with a Hummer.
And Arnold has been elected for President after a recount in Ohio (the people in Ohio wont be told until after midnight of course).

I'm T Minus right now; just popped my first Corona; going out for Prime Rib with the misses and my bro and his annoying wife. The parent in laws are watching the little monkey man for us.

Milk and cookies.... sounds good. I'm not much on the firework celebrations. Sounds too much like gunfire to me and that makes me jumpy as hell. I dont drink alcohol, and its only 11:30p here. Its off to my pj's and fluffy slippers, curl up on the couch with my angry teenage daughter (general angst) and wait. In another half hour, we'll look at each other, mumble Happy New Year, and go to bed. ;D
