handheld spotlights - color temp/mixing

I wasn't able to find a decent answer in the search (or elsewhere online) so I apologize if it's been asked before.

I'm trying to do a forest+fog shot with a searchparty with handheld flashlights cutting through the fog at dusk etc etc. I was considering getting something like these handheld spotlights:

Does anyone have suggestions on what to use or buy?

Most of these are quartz halogen, but I can't find respectable answers for the color temp. I know they're device specific, but the closest range I found on any of them was "around 3k." Any known cycling issues (can't imagine since they're DC)?
They're also rated between 1million - 15million lumens... but how does that translate to wattage or something I can meter against ambient and main? Is it near 650w?

And on a more interesting note, could these be used in some awkward method for location lighting without a generator? Like, could 10 lights between 1-15million with some cinefoil barndoors and diffusion serve as a fully battery powered kit?

Sorry, I don't know. I've shot scenes lit only with car headlights and they looked fine.

But if you're here you are probably shooting on video not film. If you're daylight balanced - unlikely - they'll look yellowish. Not a big problem. If you're tungsten balanced and they are anywhere near 3000K they'll look slightly warm.

If your fog is lit with daylight HMIs you probably want them to go blue anyway, so you'll stay color balanced for tungsten or thereabouts.

Seems like the big spotlights would look fine, and probably pretty white, no?

And you're right, because they're DC there won't be a flicker problem.

Quartz halogen lights are always around 3000 to 3200 Kelvin you can buy LED flashlights with color temperatures around 56K.

Do you happen to know a little about the quality of light for the quartz halogen? Can I gel them? I've never worked extensively with LED's but I've read a lot about how they miss (I think) the green spectrum so it comes out a little weird... especially when gelled.
