Hey...So what are your comments on this game..if you've played it. I actually just finished it...someone PM me that has also finished the game and understands it...b/c there are parts that I didn't catch onto and need clarifying. ???
I have a buddy that finished it in like 15 hours. Actually pissed him off. He was unclear on a few things as well. He was like "that's it, what happened?"
yeah...There are some parts were its hard to understand the dialoge..or it was for me anyways...and I was like "yeah so what did he just say." I didn't mind the ending...tho it was sudden. I also hate it when characters start talking right in the middle of you blasting away at enemies and trying to stay alive.

LOL, I hated that in the original as well, she's all "We need to get to blah, blah, blah" while you're getting cut in half by a Sentinel laser. It’s like “Damn it shut up”.
..ive been blasting/slicing away at it for the last couple days. a few hours here or there. im pretty far into it. likely close to the end. its been pretty understandable so far. but i had a perfectly silent room, and the volume way up so i could hear what they said. alot of times i opted to restart a checkpoint so i could make heads or tails of what they were yapping about right then through all the gunfire though. sometimes i found the maps to be confusing as to where i was suppsed to be going though, and spend a couple minutes wandering around looking for some crack in the wall to slip through to get to the next checkpoint. i also hate the vertically split co-op screen. bah!
otherwise its certainly a fun and addictive game. the weaponry is pretty cool, and the levels are a good mix of all sorts of vehicles-terrain- interior/exterior- objectives and weapon tactics used. i think it will be more enjoyable to play through the seond time when its a bit easier to know whats going on and what im supposed to do though. then i can just enjoy the ride, and not worry about where it going.
I've been told that if you set your Xbox to 4:3 ratio in your dashboard that the split screen goes back to horizontal. Haven't tried it yet, but I thought I'd share in case it's true.
it worked! i went into the settings and the x box was set to widescreen, and after changing it to "normal" viewing the split scrren went horizontal. WAAAAAAY better.. thanks man
..my addiction is sad though. after a quick shoot yesterday, i was supposed to be editing last night but i took about 2 hours off to play Halo 2 and all of a sudden im left editing till 1 am.
so im tired today.. but ..eager for more. the bad part is dreaming about aliens all night cause youve played halo too much.

I have to get it before Chrismast, if not the nephews will just blow me. ;D[/quote]
When I finished Halo 2, I just started screaming at the TV. Terrible ending for that kind of game. It's fine and dandy to set up a sequel, but I need closure! As for people telling me 'it's just a good ol' cliffhanger' that's not an excuse because there's no telling how long it will be before 3 comes around. Inexcusable for HALO 2.
Also, if you hadn't picked up on it yet (i didn't until right at the end. so I'm slow) I give you these simple words to think about:
Flood
Ark
Convenant
Also, and I can't check it because I can't find my bible, I'm sure Master Chief's name "John" and his number "117" are also of importance.
so what is it about those three words? I thought about it and I don't know what it is....perhaps I already know but tell me. PM if you have to. I'm going to check out the John 117 thing.
I played it for five minutes, and cleared myself of all bodily fluids, i hate the game. and my friend built it up for two years. it just plain sucked. i hated it . haha.
