OK and it's nice to see different cities and how they look on certain days.

Please don't take this as a criticism of your film as it was good to see the city but there are acres of films with random shots put together to a piece of musak that may be nice in it's own context but bears no relationship to the piece.

it's bit like reading a dictionary and knowing that all those words if they are put in a certain order and in some form can tell a story and relate much more than some words on a page.

Good film making involves narrative that engages the viewer and tells them a story with a start a middle that defines the direction and an end leaving you with much more than just pictures and music. A voice over and / or dialogue can add to this and create a soundscape that is in empathy with the imagery.

We get all too bogged down with kit and the accessability of media these days but without much more time and thought a narrative can be pieced together using the technology to tell a story rather than just random images with a background of stock music as it all too prevalent on You Tube and Vimeo.

Some vox pops and voice over could have enhanced this particular film and add some further sense of how New Yorkers experience Halloween and how it relates to their lives and past.
