Habby Cam vs. DvRig

I'm trying to figure out which one would be better. I've got my tripod, and I will be investing in a glide cam soon hopefully. The only thing left to add to the arsenal is a shoulder mount. For the price, the Habby Cam seems great, but the DvRig Pro has it's advantages as well. What are the pro's and cons of both products? And which is the better all around purchase, for run and gun, and longer shoots where you have more time per shot?

Re: Habby Cam vs. DvRig

None of the shoulder type mounts are very convenient for leaving mounted to the camera while you travel, but the Habby Cam shoulder mount would be somewhat quicker to use by virtue of the fact that it lacks the support rod and belt of the DVRig Pro. However, all conventional shoulder mounts cantilever the weight of the camera+mount out in front of you and fail to achieve any balance point near your torso--fatiguing your arms when shooting for an extended period.

The DVRig Pro is heavier and bulkier than it needs to be, but it aligns the center of gravity close to your body and achieves a balance fine enough to take both hands off the camera for short periods. The balance allows you to support the camera for long periods without muscle fatigue. However, the DVRig is definitely a "rig", so it takes a couple of minutes to get on and is not exactly compact. Trying before you buy would be a good idea, but is difficult to do with these products.

check out video innovators for their shoulder mount:http://www.videoinnovators.com/
I have one of these and it does the trick. I, also, have it mounted on the cam with the marZpak for fast transfer to shoulder.
