H4N settings for a VO?

Hi

I have a client who wants to do her own Voiceover for a small promotion video I have completed for her. Normally I get professional VO's from a local company but as she wants to do this herself, I am a little limited as to what I can provide.

I have a Zoom H4N, Rode lavalier, Sure beta 87a wired and an AT875R...

Not sure whether i should use a mic and the H4N or just use the mice on the H4N (unsure as to what are the best settings considering i don't have a sound booth)

I did see this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4tmSgJfJLcs in which i have set up a similar effect (using MTR mode)

Anyone got any suggestions with the limited equipment i have?

I'd first try the 87. Make sure the 'talent' is very close to the mic.
Experiment.. if that's an option.
