H4N Remote

I've been seeing a lot of discussion of re: possibly booming the H4N, bagging the H4N, attaching to the lower section of a boom rather than bagging, etc.

I just wasn't sure how many were aware of the Zoom wired remote that's available; it might help in some situations:

It's quite handy.
I 3d-printed an attachment to have the RC04-remote on the handle of a shoulder-rig.

Sadly noone seems to have reversed their protocoll yet. (probably some simple serial 8n1 using the 3 pins as +5V GND and DATA.)
That would have allowed a remote shutter to start not only 2 cameras but also the sound in perfect sync.
