H4n built-in mic for interview - share your setup!

Hi- I'm going to be using my H4n to record someone's voice who I'll be interviewing. The camera will be sooting about chest level to the top of the head.

I'd love to know:
1. H4n placement and mouting (can get microphone stand and have adapter) - below subject? Above subject? Pointed in what direction?
2. Settings- preamp, mode, etc

I'm very new with this thing, and could use some pointers! Want to get a nice deep rich tone to the [male] voice I'll b recording.

I would suggest you use a different microphone than the ones on the Zoom H4. Those are more for like ambiance type recording. You will appreciate the quality of the audio by using a microphone instead of the onboard mics. You can do a search on indoor mics/hypercardioid microphones.
