h.264 + quicktime + firefox

Does anyone know why h.264 encoded video crashes firefox? It's starting to drive me crazy... i encoded a video for the web in h.264 and it crashed firefox, same as many others i've come across on the web. my video also crashed ie, which makes me think i'm doing something wrong.

does anyone have any tips on how to export in quicktime pro to avoid this?
 
yeah man, same thing happens to me. I looove the new codec! but i wish it would work with firefox...

i tried it with IE and it seems to work most of the time.

Netscape doesn't work at all.

best thing to do is just right click the link and download it.
