gyro stabilizer

I don't know anything about it but it sure looks fragile. Motors are not enclosed or even covered and circuit boards hanging off the sides. Just bump it and your done, or worse yet, it goes out of control and damages your camera. Looks like it has promise but I would wait till they fully enclose it, in CF of course.

This is a typical smaller gimbal. It is using very commonly available motors and controller. So there is no issue there. The nice thing about it is if the motor or controller burns up, you can easily buy replacements from many sources. The motors are about $34 each. Controllers are about $40. The real question is how much weight a 5208 motor and the controller can handle. There is lots of dialog on the RC forums about this.

I have no comments about the frame.

The gimbal motors are typically not enclosed. Even the latest big ones for the likes of RED are totally exposed. It's a heat issue and a weight issue. They try to protect the motors by putting the metal guards around them.

Go read some of the drone and RC forums and see what size cameras are successfully run with the 5208 motors. Some claim they are running RED Epic's with them, while others say the motors/controllers fry.
