Guy flung from chair...how?

That would have launched him about two feet or just tipped him over face first. Funny though, like those commercials where they shoot those gooey guns over the fence and you see these enormous mushroom clouds in the distance.

i honestly have no clue how they did that.... like, he obviously fell out of the chair. but i cant tell from the quality when the frame changed.

but that wouldnt be after effects man, thats total CGI OR a dummi.

No way two guys could shoot a 80kg person so far away just slightly pulling him back. You would need so much force and manpower just to get him over the pool (check out mythbusters "slingshot frontier" to understand it would be absolutely imposible) A dummy seems as the option, but a dummy would have to be sorta heavy to make it seem believable when shot outta the chair. It does'nt look like a dummy to me. I suppose it was done in AE but i cant see the sec they change the real guy for dummy. Its very subtle. It looks really real also. We must find out the secret!

Looks like a cut when they pan to him "flying over the pool"

probably a 3d model of him with motion blur applied, it looks like it changes right when the camera does the pan and there is a slight cut, probalby with a second take of the chair being thrown by somebody into the pool...

or something like that
