gunshot sound fx?

[Cheesesailor77]

anyone have or know where I could find some free gunshot noises to put in a trailer I'm working on? Its a western and I need some good sound fx.

Thanks

Firstly, there is a way to bootleg them from any videogame you play on your computer with guns in it, secondly, you can always google for gun sound effects, and lastly since its for a western look for an older sounding gun sound effect, you will be able to tell the difference.

Of course, we don't encourage bootlegging here . . .

For legal bootlegging check out:

Do a search for guns. You can probably find some type of footage with gunshots on it. Strip the sound and play with it in a sound program.

For the zombie short I bought 2 for like a buck each. Then I mixed them together to get the sound I wanted. Worked out really well. There are sites all over that offer them.

Just curious, where did you buy sound effects for a buck?

Good sound effects, dirt cheap.
Also, if you run a google search you will find a ton of links available for sound effects, the top ones of which all need to be purchased. There a lot of resources availble.
