what kind(s) of guns do you own and what is your favorite?

A couple of friends own the Saiga shotguns and like them... for what it's worth, the Russian government just defaulted on several billion (yes, billion) dollars that they owe Saiga I was told, so Saiga went into bankruptcy. So who knows how much longer they will be producing those shotguns. Use them for home defense... unless you can find a three round mag for them, then maybe bird hunting.

Myself... Savage 110FP in .308 for my deer rifle, Remmington 870 for birds, a Ruger 10/22, and a pair of Springfield XD40 pistols. I sold my AR a few months back (wish I didn't), and am jonesing on an FN SCAR if I ever get the money.

I don't own any, but grew up with a lot of guns. My step father makes guns(everything from rifling and bluing his own barrels to loading all of his own ammo) and he has his own shooting range in Ohio.

Not sure I have a favorite gun, per se.

My fav is the high bore target shooting, like a 30.06 at 200 yards. Also, love skeet. For hand guns, I'm not too thrilled with anything over say, a 9mm. I can be pretty accurate up to that caliber, but bigger handguns just hurt.

Shooting a .44 mag, and I gotta tell you, Dirty Hairy holding that thing up with one hand and hitting anything, is some bull-****. That thing will kick your ass right on the ground.

It will do the job if some jive turkey comes up in my crib talkin' smack. I also own a Miltek 9mm. It's an elcheapo gun. but it fires bullets.

Yeah, I'm biting my tongue on that last comment... so I wouldn't be surprised either.


Don't own any guns. Though I go to the firing range with my friend who's training to be a police office. Have shot shotguns, handguns, revolvers, and an AR-15. Pretty cool. He owns two shotguns and he's getting a rifle I think.

I find it hard enough to take the recoil on a regular shotgun. How do you do it with something like that!?!

I'm actually too scared to buy any firearms, :shocked: but I do like using my friend's guns at the range.

Baretta & glock 9mm, snub nose 38. And an AK-47. Ah yes, the good old AK.

I'm scratching my head at that fully auto shotgun. Could you imagine the damage that thing could do?

Obviously that Saiga isn't civilian legal without a Class III permit, and even then it wouldn't be legal in most states. But the civilian legal, semi-auto ones that my friends own are nice. Not really any different that any semi-auto hunting shotgun... other than it's based on an AK-47 and has a 10-round mag :kali:
