Guns N Roses Is Back, Finally!

Before you diss Buckethead anymore, if you care to listen to his music, which I'm sure you won't, he is probably one of the best current guitar virtuosos out there right now. He's a way better guitar player than Slash and actually he has played with many other quality musicians.
Maybe if he wore a mullet, bandana and blue jeans he would be more accepted?
As far as Guns 'N' Roses part II.......if you subtract Axl, all you have is a cover band filled with a bunch of guys who obviously can't sell a record on their own, except the drummer, Brain Mantia, who also has collaborated with Buckethead, Primus, and others.
Axl should of swallowed his pride and tried to get the real band back together, instead of being such a pompous ass.

Isn't Tommy Stinson of the Replacements (a future Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band as is Guns N Roses) still playing bass for Axl? Selling records is what makes you a great musician? Huh?

LOL. I don't care if he's the ghost of Beethoven he wears a chicken bucket on his head for chrissake. Also bear in mind, I didn't diss his playing. Furthermore I did listen to him play. I spent about an hour watching clips of him. He's a pretty amazing guitarist, but speed and chops don't mean as much to me as melody and composition. I remember when I was a kid Malmsteen was all the rage.. where is he now? Steve Vai? There's a kid out there that can stack pyramids of plastic cups really fast too.. but that doesn't make him a star. The whole bucket mask thing is ridiculous. Maybe that's his big statement against conformity.. great. Hehe. Maybe there's some weird irony with his having been slash's (tophat wearing slash) replacement. All I know is I'd love to see a documentary about the making of chinese democracy from start to finish. That would rock more than anything we're likely to ever see from Axls reconstituted GNR.

Yeah, I heard it live in '92.

That made me jealous.

Slash and the original GnR have a place in memory for me. Listening to their music brings me back in time...

I don't care what you choose to call this new Axl project or what you choose to call the new Stone Temple Pilots. It doesn't matter...

Simply put, GnR, regardless of who is involved, is a wicked band and I will buy this new album
