I need to shoot a gun fighting scene, and I'm looking information about blank bullets, permits, and how to create that gunshot wound effect when you fire a gun. any links or literature that can help me?
Google "blank firing guns". They use only blanks and have plugged muzzles. They actuate the slide upon firing and eject the casings. They are not classifeid as firearms and require no license to use. There are still safety precautions so make sure you educate yourself thoroughly.
I use them and if you want realism, plastic guns with actors faking recoil badly just doesn't cut it.
