Gumball 3000 goes green!

The largest, most expensive, most elegant, and longest street race in the world has gone green this year for 2008.

An invite only (based on applications) street race that tours Europe and sometimes the world. This year the course goes through China and North Korea.

For a measly 60,000 pounds. You too can be apart of this event. Of course supercars are always a necessity.

This year however, the Gumball is going green. If your car doesn't match the emissions requirements for the course, you need to make it up somewhere else (like your home) and get it verified before you can compete.

Another amazing event that I will never be able to attend. Gumball3000.com

...So I guess my ride wouldn't pass the test...just the other cars!!!

Haha, need a nice car and the money and I will totally do it. I think it is something like £20,000 per person extra in addition to your second person.

If I ever make it out to it, DVXuser will be seeing the race. Looks amazing.

Nice wheels :)

I've got a 67 Mustang myself. Not in as good shape, but I still love it. They might do the "If it's older than 30 years" rule like they do with emissions tests...

They just don't make them like they used to (...and now it only costs $80.00 in gas to go around the block...but it's quick block!).

And just be sure to bring a couple hundred or thousands worth of Euro to bride the police as well. And nice wheels. Alas, I have a Matrix and a RAV4...

My 'Other' fun car is a 1994 Miata...it just about fits in the trunk of the Road Runner (but you have to take a couple of the bodys out first).

I've got 4 vehicles right now... the '67 Stang, an '87 stang (to throw stuff in to get around), an '03 Stang (yes, I love Mustangs) and an '08 Buell 1125r... Just bought the motorcycle last month... :D
