Channel surfing last night and came upon a PBS interview with Guillermo del Toro. Very cool. He talked at length about monsters, how he likes to write about biological monsters in contrast to alien robots with lasers. I was most familiar with his name from directing Pan's Labyrinth and The Orphanage, but as is evident in wikipedia I learned he has quite a good screenwriting resume too.
