Guide to working with a film composer

Thanks for the link! I'm getting ready to work out a deal with a composer for my latest short film project, WHITE WALLS. This is my first time dealing with a legit film composer so any knowledge of information on this subject is cherished.

Thanks again!

Ive always found it useful to have a really strong idea of what you want - sometimes for me that also goes right down to type of instrument for a particular component. You want to provide a solid framework of information, which gives the composer a clear understanding of what you want and what you dont want. Then stand back and let them create.
