For all those who have one, whats your experience with the GPU? Has the .5 gig of memory scandal effected the process in anyways? Any experiences with editing 4k res?

yeah seemed ok i guess, I sold mine for the 780 because you cant use ray tracing or the cuda support.
 
I'm not aware of the .5 gig of RAM scandal so can't comment on that. I moved recently from the GTX 660 Ti to the 970 and have noticed improvements in rendering and exporting in P.Pro CS6. You can add the card to the list of supported cards manually and enable cuda support in P.Pro. Not sure how much of the cuda cores are utilized but like I said, I have seen an overall improvement in performance. I would say worth the upgrade overall.
