Hey guys. I've been noticing some of you include 'grunge' in your photo's, there's one person in particular, but I forgot who :Drogar-Mad(DBG):, that does it in post. My question is, how do you do it, lol? Maybe a short tutorial? Thanks, being a new D40 owner, I'm loving it! :smile:
 
I'd also love a tutorial for the photoshop grunge.

I can mess around in PS and come close, but I have a feeling I'm going about it all wrong...
 
Lake, I think your referring to iposiniditos's work.

This is all achieved by lots of layers and blending modes in Photoshop.

I just did this quickly, on a shot I took a while back of a friends band.

Way back when he was selling how-to CD's to save up for the DVX. I was at his site a couple months back but only saw photos. Has he posted any cinematography? I'd love to see what he could do with the DVX.

I just went to his site and saw that he is booked to do speaking events in Dallas, Illinois, and Wisconsin. What the?
 
Yeah, he da man. I've seen a short film he shot with a cheap 1 CCD camera. He's got skills. He's posted somethings on here but due to how long ago it was, it might not be viewable any more. Not sure. Do a search and look at the threads he's started. You might find some of his work. He got the DVX, but now shoots with a HVX.

(sorry, I don't have time now to look for the video I saw of his. I'll try to find it later on.)
