So I am checking out GROUP101 Films. I like the idea and concept behind it (being forced to create). I look through the site and see a SAN DIEGO CHAPTER and I'm thinking killer.
So, I send an e-mail to the so-called "GROUP LEADER/CONTACT" that basically states:
Hello, I would be interested in helping out with the San Diego Chapter in any capacity I can. I own the DVX100 blah blah blah...
I get this response back "I am moving to LA to pursue Editing full-time; if you want to 'learn' filmaking, I suggest going to local public access or community college and filming actors there. Good Luck"
I write back "Is there a San Diego Chapter and if so, can you forward me to the correct contact person? I am not looking to goto PUBLIC Access nor the community college"
He writes back VER BATUM (spell?)
"The short answer is NO"
I write back "Maybe someone should tell GROUP 101 this?"
Im ranting. Wheres the ****ing courtesy? dude. It's like, hook a brother up. That's it? There is no information available?
