My name is Ron, and I'm a relative noob to the hobby/profession/passion. Brand new to this forum.

I am taking my interest in a broader and more serious direction.

I won't be much help to anyone technically, but I'll do my best to bring something
to The Table.

HV20 user, looking at an upgrade to the FS100, or, may even "settle" for an XH A1S.

It's a bit intimidating, seeing what it can cost to add accessories...

I am on the Canadian side, but I bet that isn't unfamiliar ground for you, either.

It is GREAT to be on the border. These days, with the cold, I guess I wish that border was in Orange County, but...
Dad settled here in the 50s and the rest is history. Speaking of freighters, this summer I took a long-time friend who now lives
in The Bahamas to check out the Shipwreck Museum in Whitefish. Was my fourth visit there (over the past several years). Interesting stuff.

There is a Grand Canyon-sized gap between the info I need to acquire and the info I can offer as help, but, I am determined
to be a solid citizen here.
