Hi all, I've been lurking in the forums for a while and figured it was time to contribute to the community. I've worked for the last 12 years as a news photojournalist (cameraman)- starting at local affiliates and working my way to New York where i now work for one of the big news outfits. My bread and butter has always been news, but as skills, technology and interests evolve I've been doing more and more high end production work, directing and DP-ing. So i guess the skill set ranges from cutting a day-turn piece in the back of an SUV during a hurricane to shooting narrative shorts and obsessing over color grades. Overall, my main interest is story and learning everything about what techniques and gear can best tell it. This forum is an amazing resource and I'm happy to contribute in any way that I can- Bob
