Greenscreen

The scene in I Love You, Man...Where they're "boat racing" with the beer and the guy pukes on the bigger guy.....That was greenscreened. Half of the "set" I guess
was there with real objects, but then the other half was pure greenscreened. I'm wondering why they would do this in a scene that could easily be done in a living room/even a set.

I know, but I checked the behind the scenes on it and I saw that scene and it was green screened.

Maybe done in pick-ups time and they couldn't go to the original location?
