Greenscreen + wired lav = bad?

I'm filming some greenscreen footage that will later be used for an "interactive internet teaching experience" (whatever that means) , and we haven't decided if we are going to go for a full body shot on a greenscreen stage or upper 2/3 or 1/2 body shot with just a greenscreen background. Obviously if we go with the 1/2 or 2/3 shot then a wired lav is easily conceable but I'm worried about the full body shot, I've read that the sound quality and prices for wired and wireless lavs are very different and that if possible we should use a wired lav. But if its the full body shot I'm worried that any wires will be difficult to key out? Should I just switch to a shotgun mic on a boom? Anyone have any experience with greenscreens and audio?

Thanks

you should do both, if boom shadows become an issue then take it away. When shooting o green screen ,green screen is away from the talent anyway, you won't have any shadows

Right, if you are getting shadows on the green screen, you lighting is wrong.

By the way, it is not dangerous to get mic in the picture, as long as it stays on the green and does not touch the talent. Easy to garbage matte out.

I know you can also get XLR cables on markertek.com that are colored and I believe they have green. I do not know how this green compares to a screen though.
