I'm editing a video which is all shoot on green screen and there are white markers on the wall like little crosses like this ( + + + +) for camera movement. when i croma key the image i want over the green, the little white crosses are still there...How can I get rid of them?

Im using premiere 2.0

but I do have final cut Pro 4 and After effects if it makes any difference.

Please help!

Thank you for the help.

I'm still having some trouble with the garb age matte:
When i cover the crosses, it works great but when my actor walks in front of it they get covered too...

any suggestions?

You will need to animate a garbage matte(s), to factor in the talent moving and intersecting the crosses.

If PP2 does not have what you need, see Video Copilot tutorials, "Blood Splattering on a Tree!". That will show you how to animate a garbage matte in AE.

Key frame the garbage matte.

Why do you have the tracking markers and are ever you going to need them at some point down the process? Usually they are placed there for compositing purposes.

I didn't film it. I have no idea why they put them in. it would have made my job a lot easier if they left them out.

They put them in so that if the camera moves you can track the points and keep the background locked down.
