green/blue screen lighting

If anybody can advise me what kind of light(fluorescent, halogen, or regular bulb) I have to use for green/blue screen lighting?
Any links of DIY for that?

Thanks in advance.

You really just need to make sure that the screen is evenly lit and lit independently of the subject. Its okay if there is a little spill from the lights lighting the screen on to the subject...just make sure to look for any hot/low spots on the screen. I have been screwed over more then once in a wrinkle in a chroma blanket.

If it matter I typically use Lowel Omni, one on each side with umbrellas putting a soft light onto the screen. Have the person in front of the lights (getting a little spill light from the sides), a light in front of the person (another soft light), and then a light above their head.

Good luck.

IMO, the best is halogen, but with some of the great keying software available such as Ultra, the garbage matte should work well with the other types of lighting mentioned.
