I remember this film being pulled from theatres when I was younger. Something to do with copyright infringment due to it resembling JAWS. Does anyone know if it is available to buy anywhere? I'm a sucker for shark movies as the great white has long been my favorite sea creature. BTW, if you dig JAWS, you should really read Steve Alten's MEG series of novels. So far there are 3 of them and they all kick much ass. Anyway, if anyone has seen Great White or knows how i might acquire it, i'd appreciate it. BTW, if you have interest in the MEG novels here is Alten's site.

He's been trying to sell the film rights for a few years now. I'm hoping to wake up one day and find that it's going to see the big screen :)

I bought a copy of it off ebay. I'm sure you could find one one there. The one I bought was the so called *uncut* version called The Last Shark aka Great White. I too am crazy over shark movies, but Great White did make me giggle at some parts. Seantree, your a pretty cool guy, as Steve Alten is my favorite author. I've been praying for a long time for Meg to be made into a movie. Is there any more news on that?

Oh damn, nevermind, I just went to that horror channel link and boy am I excited. I am a little worried about de Bont though.

agreed. I was hoping for a better director to be attached to the flick but the fact that it is being made at all made my day!!!! Now I can die a happy man. Well, that is after MEG kicks ass at the box office and they decide to do the Trench and Primal Waters. I read that the re-release of MEG that is based off of the script should be out this summer. Cannot wait. BTW, my friend just bought The Loch and said it is his best novel yet.
