I know a lot of people here use the Alzo 3000 or one of it's clones. I found a nice, cheap set of modifiers you might be interested in.
Search eBay for "Photo Studio Barn Door & Honeycomb Grid & Gels Set" to find several Chinese sellers. (I got mine for $20)
For very little money you get flags, a honeycomb and several colored gels. All of which snap together. I replaced the transparent diffusion gel (which is too small to really do much diffusion) with a negative green gel to tame the green spike in skin tones.
Only thing you need to add if you don't already have one iis a Bownes S-mount adapter, which can also be found for about $20
