Great actors don't need a script!

Films change all the time due to actor intervention. Not always a bad thing. I wouldn't think Jessica Alba carries that sort of clout, however.

It's like Robert Mckee says, if someone tells you the script doesn't matter, hand them 90 blank pages and say, "there, go make your movie". It does however explain her decision to choose Good Luck Chuck. Anyone that read that script would have turned it down.

Dang...and Jessica was almost at the top of my best-actresses-I-want-to-write-for-and-direct list. I'll move her two spots below Brittany Spears and Jessica Simpson...which now puts her four spots below one of those animated chipmunks.

FWIW,

Ken Levine is an extremely talented writer and comedian. He is a huge baseball fan also. Back in the early 1990s he did play by play for the Mariners and it was the funniest year in the history of broadcasting!! Hall of fame broadcaster Dave Niehaus could barely hold his bladder sitting next to him.

I'm sure top notch directors won't let her say whatever she wants to say. I think her comments would make some producers and directors shy away from her with that attitude.
