Graying hair

How can i grey someone's hair to make him look older...
i want it to look as natural as possible...

Yeah that would work!!!

Just a suggestion but maybe a theatrical supply store that sells makeup items might have some kind of a hairspray for a temporary grey tint? That's all I could think of. Maybe a local beautician/hairdresser might have a suggestion also. I would think there would be some kind of product used for theatrical productions that might be available. I did a web search for "theatrical makeup" and came up with this. They have gray but it does not say if it is temporary or permanent hair coloring -- http://www.stagemakeuponline.com/bennye/04_face_painting_liquid_glitter_hair.php

Kevin Smith used baby powder in his B&W movie Clerks. As rough as the footage came out, you couldn't tell it was fake.

I did the same thing in highschool for a film we did...was on crappy vhs, but looked ok.

We didn't have close ups on the guy, though.

I have used baby powder many a time, I'd suggest using it for wide shots and find a substitute for the close ups.

If he could find a substitute for the close ups, why wouldn't he just use it the whole time, negating the need for baby powder?

haha, wow that was kind of stupid. I guess if the substitute took a long time to apply or something... I don't know.
