I'm currently building a new PC (Intel i7 2600 quad-core, 8GB ram, Blu-ray writer, etc) and I want to make sure I get a video card that will be able to handle the editing I plan to do -- for now, mostly Canon DSLR stuff (Cineform transcoded, of course).
Does anyone have experience with the AMD Radeon HD 6770 for this purpose? 1GB of dedicated video memory, which is solid, but I wonder if I should go with something bigger i.e. more expensive? As long as this card can handle Vegas/Final Cut running smoothly with high quality preview video, I'm pretty much set.
