I ran a test recording on the audio of the Grand Piano - trying to cut down on the bad sound of the room I put my mics as close to the strings as possible. The low volumn was wonderful but this piano has a full audio spectrum and just blew out. I don't wnat to loose the great sound at low volumn. In Vegas can I simply use the track Compession and lower the high volumn and keep the soft parts at full volumn? And, how do I seperate the left channel from the right in a single stereo audio track.
