grand opening event

ok im covering the grand opening of a boutique here in dallas. i will basically be collecting a lot of footage, b/c it will be used for a doc that im gonna do down the road. we will be running 2 dvx100a's, shotgun mic(on camera). we may have to deal with available light, b/c i hav no oncam light.

any tips you have for me? anything will help me.
