Apologies if there is already a thread on this, but I'm on my phone so it's not the quickest way to search.

I'm starting a grade on a video, I haven't done it before (on this scale) so was wondering if anyone knew any decent places with tips/info on grading. Any help at all would be great.

Thanks!

ON how to use COLOR, or how to color correct and make footage look cool? There are plenty of tutorial DVDs on the topic of how to USE color, but as for how to learn the art of color correction, that has to be learned by trial and error, or by training with a colorist. The DVDs will show you the basics of matching shots, but that's about it.

Thanks Shane. I have the basics of color (the software) worked out, I was more after the cool stuff part. But, as you said, this will most likely be achieved via trial and error.
