Hi,

I am currently trying to get better results in regards to footage I have shot with my Canon 5D III and I have noticed people using plugins or something with their Premiere or After Effects to get great results.

Does anyone have any recommendations of free plugins for Premiere or After Effects or links to sites where there are tutorials on how to get great results on grading especially for people using a 5D III camera.

Thank you

If you want free, and you don't want to go with Speedgrade, Colorista Free from Red Giant. I graded an entire T2i feature with it, as it was released just days before I began my grade.

Great CC and Grading is achieved by knowing how to CC /Grade.

I recommend getting either of the Video Color books from Van Hurkmann or Jaime Fowler. ( Amazon) and studying them.

The tools exist in AEFX and PPRO natively ....and ONLY if one knows how to CC/Grade... can one then learn how to use them.

Magic bullet type plugins wont teach much about serious CC/Grade but do give instant gratification...and results that always looks like someone elses. (ie familiar)

Would recommend Speed Grade if you have it.
