Gradient Question

How would I go about doing text but adding a color gradient?

Go to the Boris folder in the Effects tab and select title crawl. You can choose text style, fill type (including gradient), pick your colors, etc, etc. The default setting in the animation pull-down menu is 'None'. Pick crawl or roll if you want movement. Maybe it has everything you need. Hope this helps.

you can always use photoshop or similar and import your text as a tiff (preserve transparency, if you want the text to appear on top of your video).

I tend to do my titles in photoshop/after effects rather than use the in-built text functions....maybe it's just a habbit though??
