Got my Letus35 Flip...Opinions & Questions!

Your lens may not be broken, there is a small latch that must be triggered before the aperature will work on some lenses. And most the 35mm mounts will not engage this latch, such being the case with canon FD lenses

Interesting, And I tested it. I put it on the mount, and then Pressed the spring loaded latch
with my finger, BINGO! The aperture ring works now.
Now the question is, what now! New mount that will activate the spring loaded latch?

Man, what a long day. I should go mix some music for a while. I'm in over my head here,
but you guys & gals have eased my mind a wee bit.
Thanks,
Adrian

BTW, this is the exact lens I bought.

This problem is one of the reasons why a lot of people recommend Nikon F mount lenses for these adapters. I personally love Canon, and shoot Canon EOS, but I purchased Nikon manual lenses in anticipation of the G35 being released.
