Got my DVX102A 3 days ago , never thought it will be this good , I mean wow , really wow ,
big thanks to Mr Barry green , I got his book a week before getting the cam ,
and I never realized how helpful the book is until I got the cam between my hands ,


I will spend few months learning and practising in shooting editing and of course lighting ,
I realized after a few shot that a good lighting gives a very great filmlook ,


It is good to hear from you guys about your first hand on your DVX ,
and how long took you to begin your first short , might help

Dvx102A, congratulations, can you post some footage? I've never seen footage from that camera, is it the same with the Dvx100a? what's the difference between them?
 
it is identical to DVX100AE(PAL) it is a product number for middle east, Asia , and parts of Europe I think,

the good thing about this product is the standard battery which comes along with it , it is the D54s !!! , I ordered a D54s one with the cam , didn’t know I thought the standard just like the dvx 100a , now I have two original D54s and a car adapter charger , wow I think I will never run out of power ever

coffee , yea you should get this car charger ,and with two 5 hours batteries you will solve your power problems completely
