1st time posting, so I'll try not to ramble on too much. dvxuser has been a great resource the last few years so I thought where better to get some advice primarily my new website (finally!) and how best to market myself as a director/shooter going forward.
I've worn all the hats over the last few years from writing, directing, cinematography, editing, grip, PA and really want to make the next step onto pro sets. Unfortunately Vegas seems to be a wasteland when it comes to serious filmmakers (we lose them all to LA!) so real advice on how to make that next step is scarce. So questions, Is my site any good? Will industry pros take me seriously? Based on the work, what areas of the industry should I be looking into? Do I need more info on there? More videos? (I left off the wedding stuff, I've sworn never to shoot another one) Am I a no talent hack? Any advice and criticism is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
