Thanks Raptor.
Its not that great and I didn't have his photoshop file, so I just used his quickly. edges need to be fixed and stuff, but just wanted to give him an idea.
I thought even making the 2007 look like its sinking in the water.
I think the reason that the poster didn't pop as much at first is because it didn't have much content. That's why I added the liquid below. it also makes for a good heavy base at the bottom of the poster. Kind of grounds the whole thing visually. (I'm finding out that adding content really helps. like a frame from the movie, and tons of layers, graphics, etc..)
The title didn't stand out. that's why I made it pop. I actually used his letter, and added the liquid behind the title with the layer set up as "difference" mixing, so it turned from green to red.
The photos were lined up too perfectly. I added a shadow layer, and taped the 2 that were not clipped.
The font for "a tool for every job" didn't fit. It almost wants to be a dosier looking type of font.
I think I also made the whole background a little bit darker. I'm assuming his movie is dark, and didn't want something so bright.
I'm no graphic designer, so I hope he likes it, and some of these ideas help him create his killer poster.
Good luck.
