I just got a complete Mole 2k setup, barn doors, 4 scrims, and bulb for only $184 shipped!! He's selling another right now and says he has a bunch more

This setup is over $1000 at B&H. The light does have dings and scuffs, but functionally sound. I have no connection at all to this seller, just amazed at such a freakin deal!

You can bulb this setup down to 1500w and 1000w, this is a monster light!
 
Damn.. wish I had a little more cash available to me this month.. I could use a couple of these.. Then again.. with as many as he's got, I might be able to snag a couple next month or January.. :D
 
Yeah, I hear ya, after I got the first one, I asked if I could just give him another $184 for a second set (off-eBay) and he said yes! So $368 on a credit card got me two complete setups. He actually ended up shipping me 10 scrims between the two units.
 
Hmm maybe I'll just phone him or shoot an email and see if he'd be willing to hold a couple for me until next month or the first of the year..

Worst he could say is no I guess. ;)
 
I don't think you'll need to have him hold them, I bet he'll still have some when you have the money.

Besides, this is why they invented credit cards :-) :-)
 
Glad you got what you wanted. Those are indeed ,monsters in size. Now you just need a couple of good combo stands.
I bought a couple of Hi-HI roller stands from them 2 years ago. I paid $ 100 bucks each for 2 stands, plus 30-40 bucks shipping from CA to Iowa. Great deal.

I wonder why they had to build this... I can't find any special function of which they couldn't have just rented a crane. Perhaps it's the base of the crane?

Anyway it's a great starting bid, and I am thinking his reserve is probably high. But good luck bidders!
