Have anyone here ever rigged a GoPro for use as a trail cam?
i am heading out to Nepal to shoot a doc on tiger and snow leopard conservation. We have a bunch of camera traps set up in the field but the quality is not great as expected from off the shelf bushel type traps. I want to rig up a GoPro with pir sensors to trigger movement and capture the video in glorious 2.7k.
My question to you all is has anyone ever done this and have any tips/recos? I'd also like some way of tweaking the GoPro to shoot in IR so I can get decent night time footage.
any thoughts?
