Just picked up the new SE edition of goodfellas... damn I love that movie. God bless directors commentary and behind the scenes footage ;D

They should send you the extra features on a second disc for free if you have the old edition. >:( I hate buying a movie and then having to buy the special edition! Damn it.

Ok, where are my car keys, I'm going to pick it up right now. :P

I think they do it on purpose.
They want you to spend more money on the special edition.

Self-defeating, in the long run. Sooner or later, people will stop bothering to buy the initial release.

Maybe folks should just start releasing the special features disks separately for $4 or so.

thats why I'm so paranoid buying movies that I love, cause I know in the future there's going to be a director's cut or special edition etc. so I usually wait.

Y'know...I've never seen a Director's Cut or an Alternate Ending or Deleted Scenes that didn't...well...suck might be too strong a word. Maybe.

But I guess even that is good for what-not-to-do info. :D

yeah, i usualy cant wait that long to get a special edition. especialy with a movie like goodfellas, i mean, its been our for like 14 years.

anyway, i dont mind shelling out a bit more for movies i like. i now a 2 versions of predator, and will have 2 versions of goodfellas soon.

on a more recent note, i had to buy the kill bill dvds, even though i herd they are doing a double pack with extra stuff soon. im just inpatient as hell.
