Goodbye DVXuser...

..probably not a good idea to wait too long... leaving at the last minute is impossible.. the roads will be swamped and youll likely pretty much drive for 8 hours to go a few miles.

..anyhow.. stay safe and if you have to stay make sure you have supplies for weathering the storm. :)

Just cause Andrew dodged you at the last second doesnt mean this one will......i'd get out of there. I had some relatives who died in Katrina because they were the type who always stayed put....thier logic was that they had lived there for 50 years (in gulfport) and they'd stayed safe before....therefore they always would be safe. Unfortunately that was not the case. So....yeah i'd get out if i were you. Be safe.

(whats a lost bunch of DVD's and film equipment if you dont have a life to use them?)

I think its too early to leave, if its still a CAT 3-5 bu thurday and its still heading my way then I'll leave.

I'll be sure to film a lot with my DVX but when it gets rainy I'll have to use the old sony VX2000.

A major hurricane(CAT 3) is going to hit me in about 7 hours. They say theres gunna be gusts of winds over 130mph and it could still gain strengh before it makes land fall. Theres ****ing tornados all over south florida right now. Florida power and light says theres gunna be no power for 2 weeks. Maybe I should have evacuated. lol

Peace.

Good luck to anyone who lives in south Florida.

Wow thats really sad. I don't live too far from fort lauderdale, I got pretty lucky with the tornados. I woke up around 5am to a tree crashing down against my house. My parents lossed all of their mango threes(which is like 23) and they got some roof damage. It looks like World war 3 happend in my town. I'll donate what I can to you're friend.

Damn, that's some terrible news...I LOVES me some Mangos.....big time, and now the world has at least 23 less producers.
