I have recently bought an external hard drive (120 gig was all I could afford), but I decided to lay all my final videos on there... What I did, was render full quality video into one folder (folder right now is about 52 gig, with 10 finished shorts on it).
I was hoping to archive/compress all my final videos, so they become as small as possible. I wont need to watch them, but I just want to know I have them all somewhere, for backup and demo reel purposes.
Anyway to do this, compress a video, store it, and uncompress back to full quality?
(I download winRAR and tried it, but I could only get a 1.4gig video to 1.3... Not sure if I did it right)
