Good Vibes/Bad Vibes?

Read some of the threads on tripods and am looking at the one by Bescore listed at B&H for 185+ shipping. Anyone have any good/bad vibes from this? I'd like to be able to spring for the big guys but that may be a few videos down the road.

Thanks in advance,

If you're going to buy a tripod and spend a little bit of $$, go w/ something that will last like a Bogen, something you can drop and know will still work when you set it back up. U will want it for a while, and wont want things to wear out like they might on a "cheaply" made tripod. I CAN NOT SPEAK OF THE BESCORE cos i've never used one. But the Bogen's I have used, had good locks and teeth on them, and (u can still wear out teeth on the tripod by not tightening things down if they're not in the proper space) seemed like they'd last a good while. These were school Bogen tripods, and I know they took abuse from careless students.

I dont know, it's up to you, but consider something that will last, instead of saving money and having it break a year down the road. A bogen will last for years. Unless u drop it all the time.

When speaking about tripods, all vibes are BAD vibes. A tripod should not vibe at all.

I am just too witty this morning.

Early on I got some good advice on tripods (from this site I believe). Basically, why risk a $3,000-5000 camera on a $100 (or so) tripod? Invest the money in quality, heavy duty sticks and a good fluid head, such as Bogen. You can't go wrong.
