I just tried to buy equipment from B&H USA, but when I came to pay I found they won't post gear outside of the USA except to the buyer's registered credit card billing address.
I am from the UK, and living in New Zealand, doing a filmmaking course. Who will sell me the gear I want? The low US$ makes buying from there attractive even with 12.5% import tax to NZ. I have a paypal account..
My shopping list from B&H is/was:
Kata BP-502 Camcorder Backpack $ 224.95
Porta Brace RS-DVX100 Camcorder Rain Slicker $ 154.95
Century Precision Optics VS-16TC-DVX 1.6x Tele-Converter Lens $ 849.95
Audio-Technica AT4073AK - Shotgun Microphone Kit $ 549.95
Sub Total :$1,779.80
Total with postage to NZ = US $1,963.80
I'd quite like to find a Century 3x Macro 72mm too.
As well as help sourcing this gear at the right price, I would appreciate any comments on my choice of gear, chosen after trawling the advice in these excellent forums.
