Good to Be Back

I've been absent from the forums for a couple of months and it feels like I've been gone forever.

I just finished looking at a lot of the threads in the HorrorFest section. When did all of you guys turn into professional filmmakers. I can't believe the quality of some of the stuff I was seeing. :)

I've got to get my act in gear. :(

Actually, I had invested a lot of time and money into a project this past summer "A Toaster in Space" and it sort of imploded.

I spent a couple of months feeling sorry for myself (never a good thing).

This past week-end I did a 12 hour film contest and it got my film addiction going again. :)

I hate that feeling feel when something catastrophic happens to your project and then you get all depressed... start doubting yourself. Ultimately though, you end up doing much better the next time around. For some reason there's a stronger drive to succeed.

Glad to hear you're back in the swing of things though! :)

Hey welcome back! I was wondering where you'd been! The horrfest downloads just went up, better head over there and check em out.

Hey welcome back.

Sorry to hear about the toaster project, I was really looking forward to seeing that...the script was fantastic. So, is the project dead? (I hope not)

Anyway, glad to have you back

Brandon, I'm downloading the movies now. I can't wait to see them all. The pre stuff I saw was AMAZING.

Larry, Thanks for the kind words about "Toaster". That script is near and dear to my heart. It's funny, I have shot 10 short films in the last 3 years. I've never worked harder on anything then I did on that and yet that is the only film that turned into a catastrophe. For the moment it is sort of dead (or at least very sick), but I would be surprised if it didn't rise again.
